JOSH. A TORNADO SWEPT THROUGH MULTIPLE PROPERTIES LEAVING A TRAIL OF DESTRUCTION BEHIND. NOW, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS VIDEO RIGHT HERE, JUST ONE BUILDING ON A PROPERTY THAT’S BEEN TOTALLY TWISTED AND BROUGHT DOWN AND JUST DOWN THE ROAD, ANOTHER PROPERTY THERE, TREES, BARN AND EVEN THEIR MAILBOX WAS DESTROYED. BUT THANKFULLY, THE HOUSE THERE APPEARS UNTOUCHED AND STILL STANDING. CREWS WERE OUT THERE WITH A BULLDOZER TO HELP CLEAR OUT THE DEBRIS INTO THE NIGHT. BUT WE COULD NOT CONFIRM WHETHER THERE WERE ANY INJURIES HERE. AND TAKE A LISTEN TO ONE MAN WHOSE FAMILY LIVES NEARBY. YOU COULD HEAR THE LOUD ROAR. IT’S JUST A CONSTANT ROAR. WHEN IT WAS PASSING. YEAH, VERY, VERY SCARY. BUT I COME OVER, WE HAVE SOME DAMAGE, BUT NOTHING. WE WERE BLESSED A LOT MORE. A LOT MORE DAMAGE. AS YOU GO NORTH, NORTH OF HERE. AND THAT TORNADO ALSO BRINGING DOWN PLENTY OF POWER LINES, MANY OF WHICH ARE STILL BLOCKING ROADWAYS. AND THAT JUST UNDERSCORES HOW MUCH WORK IS STILL LEFT TO BE DONE FOR EVERYONE HERE.

At least 12 tornadoes have been confirmed from Friday’s severe weather in Nebraska.Burt and Dodge counties had as many as five tornadoes, ranging from EF-0 to EF-2, according to the National Weather Service.In Stanton, Colfax, Platte, Madison, Pierce, and Boone counties, there were five EF-1 and 2 EF-unknown tornadoes, the National Weather Service said.More results are expected in Pawnee and Richardson counties, where crews did not get to over the weekend.The first tornado in Stanton County was an EF1 with a 9-mile path headed north, causing snapped tree trunks and damage to a home and a large hog barn.The second tornado in Stanton County was an EF1 with a 5-mile path, destroying a hog barn at a farm.The third tornado in Stanton County was an EF1 with a 2.8-mile path, causing minor damage.A tornado in Madison and Pierce counties was measured as an EF1 with a 3.1-mile path, mostly causing damage to trees.A tornado in Boone County was an EF1 with a 1.25-mile path, damaging a shed and snapping power poles.
