The 40/29 Get Ready Weather team is keeping a close eye on the skies for another round of severe weather to wrap up the weekend. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are already moving in the River Valley, south of the warm front. Strong winds, hail and heavy rain may occur if these storms get to severe limits. The main bulk of the storms will move in later in the evening and overnight as the cold front moves eastward into our region, strengthening as they move over NWA and the River Valley, so the more easterly parts of the viewing area are at the higher risk to see high winds and an isolated tornado later tonight. The main threats are high winds with the line of storms tonight, but an isolated tornado with both the scattered storms and the line of storms cannot be ruled out.
