Blizzard has put out the first server-side hotfix for the PC version of Diablo 4, making a number of smaller changes to the backend systems of the game.
The good news is that, as this is a server-side hotfix, no download of a patch on your end is required. Next time you log in, all the magic will happen in the background and you won’t have to download a thing. There’s expected to be plenty more of these, as Blizzard look into issues such as the ‘unable to find valid license’ Error Code and more.

Sorcerer
Class Specialization
Flame Shield Enchantment
- When Flame Shield is initially equipped into an Enchantment slot, it’s placed on full cooldown.
Rogue
Class Specialization
Inner Sight
- After Inner Sight’s unlimited Energy expires, there will be a 4 second delay before another enemy becomes marked.
Items
Shout Skill Cooldown Reduction
- This affix will no longer appear on items.
Miscellaneous
- Monster health values have been increased in later World Tiers.
