A wildfire burning near Grants has burned several structures and forced evacuations for others. Grants Fire officials say the fire is burning about 35 miles south of Grants near the intersection of Caldera Road and Big Pines Road. Four structures, including one home, have burned in the fire. The fire has grown to 300 acres with 0% containment. Fire officials say 150 personnel and five aircraft are working the fire with an additional 100 personnel and four other aircraft on the way. Type 3 Incident Command is expected to begin supervising fire fighting efforts on Friday.The Red Cross has set up a shelter for evacuees at the old county building at 515 West High Street in Grants. No injuries have been reported.
