5-year-old killed when tree falls on car during storm in Georgia, coroner says

A 5-year-old died when a tree fell on a car he was riding in during Thursday’s severe weather in Georgia, according to the coroner. (Video above: Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp declares state of emergency due to storms)This happened at about 5 p.m. in Jackson, Georgia.The coroner said an adult in the car is in critical condition. The storms that blew through the southeast left at least seven people dead in Selma, Alabama.

A 5-year-old died when a tree fell on a car he was riding in during Thursday’s severe weather in Georgia, according to the coroner.
