3 TO 1. WE ARE MONITORING THE NEXT CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND STORMS. AND THAT COMES THIS EVENING OUT TO THE EAST. THANKS FOR JOINING ME ON THE KOCO MOBILE APP AS WELL AS KOCO DOT COM. I’M METEOROLOGIST TAYLOR COX AND THAT RISK FOR STORMS IS ANYWHERE FROM TULSA OVER TOWARDS SEMINOLE OUT TOWARDS ADA AND THEN A HIGHER RISK OF FURTHER CLOSER TO THE OKLAHOMA AND ARKANSAS STATE LINE. NOW PREDICTOR IS HAVING TROUBLE POPPING THESE STORMS UP ON OUR MAP AND THAT’S BECAUSE WE DO HAVE A STRONG CAP ON THESE STORMS. SO THE LIKELIHOOD OF ONE GOING UP, IT’S LOW. BUT IF IT DOES GO UP, I WANT TO SHOW YOU YOUR BIGGEST HAZARDS. SO OUT IN FAR EASTERN OKLAHOMA, WE HAVE THAT LOW CHANCE FOR STORMS AFTER 6:00 TONIGHT. GO AHEAD, MAKE SURE THAT YOU’RE CHECKING THE RADAR, BECAUSE IF THESE STORMS DO GO UP, THE BIGGEST RISK WILL BE HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF A GOLF BALL. AND THEN AS IT TRACKS FARTHER OUT TO THE EAST, 60 MILE PER HOUR WIND SPEEDS ARE EXPECTED. THAT TORNADO RISK IS VERY, VERY LOW. AND THAT FLOODING RISK IS ALSO LOW. OF COURSE, WE’LL BE MONITORING THESE
