    Oklahoma could see severe storms develop Saturday

    While Friday is dry, severe storms could return this weekend to Oklahoma.KOCO 5 Meteorologist Jonathan Conder says central to eastern Oklahoma has a marginal to slight risk for severe weather on Saturday. He said the risk is very conditional, meaning storms would be severe if they pop.Jonathan added that there is a very strong cap, or warm air aloft, Saturday that would suppress thunderstorm development. The cap may not break until after sunset when the cold air aloft moves in.The severe storms could bring 60-70 mph winds and ping-pong-sized hail.The severe weather risk also brings a risk for tornadoes in southeastern Oklahoma.Open the video player above to get the latest severe weather timeline.
