It is a busy weekend in North County with the Solid Sound Music Festival opening its gates Friday and Memorial Day ceremonies Monday.
Hopefully, the weather cooperates.
Thursday, May 26, will be a cloudy spring day with temperatures in the mid-70s but come Friday, temperatures will creep up into the 80s with showers and thunderstorms expected.
Expect high humidity and cloud cover throughout the day. The Weather Channel predicts that storms should begin in the afternoon.
Same deal on Saturday, May 28. Although temperatures will be cooler in the mid-70s, expect clouds, showers, and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon.
The weather looks more consistent Sunday and Accuweather predicts sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s. No storms are anticipated.
Memorial Day will be warmer and perfect for ceremonies and picnics. Temperatures should be in the high 80s.
Expect similar weather Tuesday.
Looking even further ahead, Accuweather predicts a few 90-degree days midweek — so look forward to that.
