SAN DIEGO — A trolley line that travels between Downtown San Diego and Santee was temporarily shut down Wednesday due to police investigating a suspicious device, according to authorities.
San Diego Metropolitan Transit System’s Green Line returned to normal service around 8:11 p.m. after service being halted for about an hour-and-a-half at 12th Avenue and Imperial Avenue in both directions, the public service transit provider tweeted.
No other details were released by authorities about the incident.
